Where things stand today

The Cut Flower App is not built yet. No developer has been chosen, and there is no build date. I Speak Flowers™ comes first.

What It Will Be

A tool for the employees of flower shops, the people behind the counter. Point a phone at a flower, a vase, a plant, or whatever a customer just asked about, and the answer is there — no ads, quick enough to use with someone standing in front of you. It helps anyone working in a shop speak flowers, and sell them.

It is built for flower shops, and only flower shops. It will never be offered to grocery stores or supermarket floral departments. It is a staff tool, not a consumer app, and it will not take orders, route orders or connect shops to growers for buying.

✦Work for any new hire. On day one, in any flower shop.
✦Sell nothing. No ads, no orders, no favorites.
✦Speak the trade's languages. Florists work in many. So will the app.
✦Follow the florists. What member shops ask for decides what goes in.
