Supporting the Mission
How this industry builds the app that changes everything — together.
We are currently building our founding group — and this may take a few weeks or a few months. If you are viewing this website, you were invited to be part of that founding group. Timing is everything.
Only florists are being invited at this time. This is a numbers game built through direct communication and industry networking, with florists in several countries around the world being asked to join at the same time. That preliminary work is happening now. Membership will open when the time is right.
Please read on to understand exactly how this will work — and to know just how important your membership is to this cause.
Before the memberships begin, we have been contacting founding members — a group of florists worldwide directed to this website. Before anything opens fully, we are building something more important: a community. A founders group of florists across multiple countries who understand why this matters.
This website has its elements of honesty and some industry commentary. That is intentional. It is meant to build support by speaking plainly.
For instance — if a florist is upset that grocery stores are learning how to design wedding and funeral arraignments, that emotion is valuable. That truth helps build the case for the app. We appreciate that large floral associations support the growth of the floral industry. But at what expense to the flower shop?
The point of this website is to stir up emotions. To name what others have been politely avoiding. Because it is time for change — and change requires urgency.
Once the kickstart group is established and the time is right, membership will open in four phases — each one building on the last. Every phase brings a new part of the industry into the mission.
Open Enrollment 2026 · Now Open
Founding members are the first florists invited into the movement. This group will receive more communication, including surveys, opinion requests, and opportunities to share feedback as the direction of the platform develops. These are the florists helping shape the conversation from the beginning.
Open Enrollment 2026 · Now Open
All other florists are invited to become members as the movement expands. This membership includes less direct communication than the founding member group, with no surveys or opinion requests at this stage. The purpose is simple: to grow participation across the floral industry and show that flower shops are ready to move together.
Closed Enrollment at This Time
Grower membership will open at a later stage. Growers are an important part of the direct grower-to-florist connection at the heart of the app, but enrollment for this group is currently closed.
Closed Enrollment at This Time
Membership for wholesalers, distributors, and others in the middle of the industry will be considered in a later phase. This enrollment is currently closed while the florist membership phase is being built first.
We are not the first to build something this way. Kickstart-style crowdfunding has funded some of the most important innovations of the past two decades — from technology platforms to creative projects to social movements. The data is clear: when a community believes in something, they fund it. And when a kickstart group leads the way, others follow.

Crowdfunding Growth
The global crowdfunding market has grown from $17.7B in 2024 and is projected to reach $38.7B by 2029 — growing at 17.3% annually. Kickstart-style campaigns with an engaged community consistently outperform the average.
A Worldwide Campaign
This is not a local campaign. Florists in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Japan, South Africa, Colombia, Kenya and beyond are part of this movement. Every pin on this map is a country where florists are hearing about this for the first time — and recognising something they have been waiting for.
Most crowdfunding campaigns ask strangers to believe in something they have never heard of. We are asking an industry — people who already know this problem, who live it every day — to fund its own solution. That is not a cold ask. That is a community recognising its moment. Campaigns with videos earn 105% more than those without, and 53% of email-shared campaigns convert to memberships — and we have something better than a video. We have the truth.
Every florist who joins is not just funding an app. They are investing in their own survival. Their own competitive edge. Their own direct line to the grower at their back door. That is not charity. That is strategy.
We know you are out there. You are the person who walks past a flower shop and stops. Who knows the difference between a garden rose and a hybrid tea. Who has searched online for the name of a flower you saw in a photo and couldn't find it. Who buys flowers not just as a gift — but because you genuinely love them.
We want to connect with you right now — before the app is even built. We are forming test groups of end users who will be among the very first to use the cut flower app when it is ready. Your feedback, delivered directly to florists, will shape how this app works for the people who love flowers most. That is you.
For End Users — Flower Geeks & Flower Nerds
When enrollment opens, flower geeks and flower nerds can join through a $25 annual newsletter membership. Created exclusively for non-florists, the membership includes industry updates, community news, and future opportunities to participate in app testing and provide feedback. Your voice matters, and florists need to hear from you.
Including real end users in the development of an app is not just a nice idea — it is proven to dramatically improve the final product. When flower geeks and flower nerds test the cut flower app before it launches, they catch what developers miss, they ask questions the industry never thought to answer, and they shape the experience into something that actually works for the person standing in the flower shop.
